Esk Cleaning Services Terms
Please read the following terms:
We endeavour to be on time during every visit.
The client understands the price quoted is not a package deal and based on clients description and includes only cleaning labour. The Client understands that excessive clearing prior to commencement of service will incur added costs.
Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday appointments are available for one time thorough cleans, move in/out cleans and special events such as before and after parties.
Payment for services
If we arrive to clean and there is no payment to hand we will have to reschedule your appointment before commencing work. Esk Cleaning Service gladly accepts payment in the following forms:
- cash
- bank transfer
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please provide at least 24 hours notice as we hold the time slot open for you and turn away other potential customers in order to ensure your service.
Privacy Policy
We do not share information gathered through our web site or any personal information with any other third party.
Weather
The client understands that should snow and or icy weather conditions make commuting dangerous for our cleaner to attend then the customer agrees the usual payments will continue to be made and the missed service will be made up as soon as possible.
Extra Services
If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day please contact us 24 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time and materials needed for your home and we can give you a quote for the additional services.
Appointment times
Afternoon appointments would ordinarily start in the early afternoon to allow sufficient cleaning time.
Regular Cleans
Regular domestic cleaning, and office/shop cleaning may be cancelled or rescheduled by giving at least 24 hours notice. Clients may terminate their service giving 30 days notice in writing. Our cleaners work during Bank Holidays. If the clients visit is due on a Bank Holiday and he has not called to cancel and rearrange the visit 24 hours prior to the start of the clean the client agrees to and understands that the cleaner will attend for work as usual. Any complaints must be received within 24 hours of the service and we will rearrange for someone to rectify the complaint. Please do not wait our promise is 100% satisfaction.
After Builder Clean; Party Clean; One Off Clean; End Of Tenancy Clean
Payment in full of initial estimate is due as a deposit before work commences.
Not included in the service are walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior window cleans, carpet cleaning, emptying and putting items back in cupboards/wardrobes/drawers, emptying, cleaning and putting back books on bookshelves. Washing up and cleaning cutlery drawers. These items of work are available at an extra charge.
This category of cleaning service may take up to three times longer than a well maintained home requiring general cleaning. A minimum duration of 4 hours applies.
The client may cancel a scheduled After Builder Clean; Post Party Clean; One Off Clean; End OF Tenancy Clean; giving at least 48 hours notice prior to the booked date. Client agrees to pay £30.00 cancellation fee per cleaner if the client cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Client agrees to pay £30.00 cancellation fee per cleaner in the event of a lock out caused by our cleaners being turned away due to no one being at home to let them in or a problem with the clients keys. Keys are provided must open the lock without any special effort or skills. If Esk Cleaning Services need to collect keys from a third party address outside the postal code of the premises where work is to be carried out then a £10.00 charge may apply.
Esk Cleaning Service shall not be liable under any circumstance for any loss damage delay costs or compensation which may be suffered or incurred by the client arising from late arrival of company operatives or any way connected with a cleaning service not completed due to, hot water or electricity or equipment being faulty. Existing damage in the property in the form of old stains/burns/spillage which cannot be removed by the cleaner using the equipment and materials in accordance with industry standard cleaning methods.
The client or their representative should be on site at completion of the job so an inspection can be carried out and corrections made on the day.
By entering into a service agreement with Esk Cleaning Services the client agrees that for a period of six months after the cancellation of the cleaning service the client will not hire or use any employee introduced to the client by Esk Cleaning Services. If the client does wish to employ an employee prior to the 6 month period then the client must pay Esk Cleaning Service a referral fee of £1000.00 (one thousand British pounds)
By ordering a service by telephone, email, fax or website the customer agrees to be bound by Esk Cleaning Services terms. These terms shall be governed by the relevant Scottish Law and by agreeing to be bound by them the client agrees to submit to the the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant Scottish Court.
